Green Tourism

At The Falcon House we take our responsibilities to reduce, reuse and recycle very seriously.

Since arriving here we have installed a state-of-the-art Biomass boiler system, incorporating top of the range OKOFEN Austrian boilers, together with a solar energy system capable of generating 7.2 Kilowatts of electricity.

Our additions to the property include a breakfast room. In keeping with the house’s character we used green oak for the construction.

We have also:

  • Installed a 400-gallon rainwater tank to supply water for chickens and plants
  • Re-roofed and fully insulated the Granary
  • Added two new rooms and an entrance hall incorporating the most modern insulation standards
  • Installed a 25-ton capacity composting system for green waste.
  • Installed a new EV charger.
